Greetings, I flip and hold rentals in Georgia around the Atlanta area (Gwinnett, Cobb, Dekalb) and in Alabama in the Birmingham area.

There are monthly meetings that discuss pretty much anything related to real estate - Landlording, rehabbing/flipping, mortgages/lending, etc.

The nature of my investing will start as flipping single-family homes, and evolve into multi-family rentals and later into renovation of distressed multi-family residences.  

is a way of combining a job (flipping) with investing.

As it relates to flipping, how do I protect myself from a buyer who may want to cut me out of the deal so that he/she can take over the property for a lower price?  

Hi - I am a new Member - Highly motivated to partner up with SUCCESSFUL, experienced, FUN flippers / investors in the Denver area looking to expand their team to take on more projects.I am currently a Listing Specialist, Real Estate Agent in Residential - but my passion truly is in the investing / flipping area.  

I'm thinking if I worked for a contractor I could learn the other half of the business, but assume I would be paid less than what I'm making in the office and may have a hard time finding a part-time position.What do you do when you're not flipping houses?

not knowing what type of investing you are looking to do wholesale, fix and flip or buy and hold, it should not make a difference and i would suggest you set up a separate LLC from your real estate brokerage and one for your real estate investing since those are basically 2 different company's.
