Looking for information about the area as to the oil  industry and the housing situation there past and a little forward thinking.would like your opinion of the housing situation in the general areas  of the oil industry.

I have 1/2 duplex in Arlington, Texas, which I acquired while working in the media/tech industry in Los Angeles.  

Even people much older than me are new to the industry.  

Learning a ton.I have a year of experience working in the loan industry as an L.O. but changed directions after I was laid off (along with many others) a year or two ago.  

They ended up working flipping burgers due to no demand in their industry and an oversupply of workers.I know people still paying those off 10 to 15 years later.

@Stan Johnson  I am NMLS licensed and have been a HML for many years starting in the mid 80's.what went on in the mortgage industry and especially sub prime  was not to the benefit of the public..

I want to get out of my current full-time job and into the industry that I have come to be obsessed with.

The 121 exclusion (primary residence) is a federal, not state tax issue (the state "honors" the federal exclusion for your state return as well).
