I'm looking into acquiring my first rental property and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations to see what everyone uses to compare rents in different neighborhoods?

., P & L's, rent roll, etc.Upon acquiring these self storage units I would look to use a software management company to help manage.

I recommend reading David Greene's BRRRR book to learn more about the best strategy (in my opinion) for acquiring 1-4 unit rental properties!

I’m about to close on a 1/3 acre lot that I acquired from cold calling.

I am looking to invest in and around Augusta area.I have good chunk of cash and looking to diversify my investing portfolio into real estate.Hoping to acquire SFR less than 400K not too old ( built after 2000)I am trying to find virtual real estate meetups for out of state investors like me, where I could Get some local insights about the area.

I'm wondering if it's time to find a new accountant that also invests in real estate that can help set us up to minimize our tax liability without affecting our ability to acquire additional loans. 

It would be more money but the return may be solid and financing is likely much easier to acquire.

This also helps to avoid the added expense of working with a promotional company that doesn't actually buy or sell properties, but acquires and sells qualified investors to TK companies.  

I'll have about $50K in cash to work with and some potential for more with short term loans.Goal: Acquire at least 1 more rental at next duty location.Option 1: Use an FHA loan, put 3.5% down, flip over the course of a year (while waiting for the 1 year mark to be legal to move out and rent), potentially refinance after increased home value? 

I made $0 dollars from 7 years of work but the company should be acquired by end of year.
