Secured first property, how do I go about getting the next one?
First post here,
Background on me: I am a 22 year old guy in the military with big (realistic) goals.
I’ve listened to the podcast for about a year now and after six months of looking for a property and applying for a loan I earned the title of a first time home owner. It’s a single family home and I’d like to buy another single family home in the same area.
My goal is to buy the next property by June 2022, the hurdles I’m facing now are how much do I need to save for a down payment on a $185k-$190k home, do I even need to save much for a down payment and what will the bank think of me applying for another home loan so soon after buying the first one?
