After going through Bigger Pockets it seems here to be more interactive and the lessons I've gotten here are more inline with my M.O.  

@Dave Foster can confirm or deny if a short-term flip can be 1031 exchanged much better than I, but I don't think so.  

You've got a great plan there and you'll learn a ton by continuing to interact on the forums as well as your local REIAs.

We are really exciting about finding this site and can't wait to interact and learn as much as we can! 

I've been listening to the podcasts for about a month now, but decided it was time that I finally started interacting with the group.I am currently looking for a job, so since I have a ton of free time now, I thought it'd be ideal if I could generate some funds in real estate. 

I would say it will depend on the broker, But Exit, and Remax have a pretty good hold on the REO side as Franchises go, Im independent, the non Franchise offices generally have more flexibility, but less training. as far as Law firms, Mallory & Zimmerman, reps for Associated bank in Foreclosures, my interaction with them has been good, and they seem to know what they are doing.
