New Member - Finding Deals & Wholesaling

Good morning Bigger Pockets!  I'm new to the forums.  I've been listening to the podcasts for about a month now, but decided it was time that I finally started interacting with the group.

I am currently looking for a job, so since I have a ton of free time now, I thought it'd be ideal if I could generate some funds in real estate.  It seems like the perfect textbook story:  Guy loses his job and that fuels his hunger and desire to start real estate investing full time.  Guy then becomes a wealthy and savvy investor, and it never would've happened had he not been laid off!

I know it's not that easy, but sounds good.  I don't have the desire to take out any loans or tap into my small savings account to start investing at this time, but I get a lot of investors telling me that they will pay me to find them deals.

1.) How do I find deals? How do I find wholesale properties with motivated sellers that I can connect with buyers?

I'd love to be able to connect sellers and investors for a fee to start generating some income.  Any recommendations?

Thanks in advance!!!
