Above answers are good ones, but not every LLC is set up to thwart a tenant. 

It isn't speculation, it actually already happened in Canada.. so part of the 49% surge in the US is due to diversion of funds from Canada by foreign investors there where they faced an additional 15% foreign investor tax, that was recently assessed specifically to thwart the bubble there.

They just would rather be exempt from it.They know there are users abusing the system, perpetrating all sorts of fraud, actual violent criminal actions,  sexual assaults, robberies etc including tax evasion but fail to do what is necessary to thwart these issues. 

Some arlo cameras have thwarted them but I will need to invest in a higher grade CCTV.

I would find a property elsewhere because my concern would be, knowing they are not supportive of your business plan, what other types of things might they do or be picky about to try and thwart you having STR.

The bank doesn't own the property and can not make any other outside deals to allow you to take over payments thereby thwarting the rights of the owners of the property. 

I just don't understand how it's technically my property but the current owners get to live there for free for 30 days, and also thwart my endeavors to get a paying tenant in there. 

Won't be guaranteed to be a rental but it's a start.You'll find it difficult to develop a tool that scrapes/pulls from those sites as they actively thwart those sorts of efforts through a number of mechanisms. 

I was thinking something heavy was necessary to thwart that but then I saw my young child and their friends on their school playground pulling a small one up.
