Originally from Dayton, OH I moved to NYC 9 years ago to go to school musical theatre and work as a performer.

My ex husband LOVED Top Gun and we saw it at least 3 times in the theatre when it came out.

He has extensive experience as a fabricator for experiential marketing including trade shows, fashion week, window installation, theatre/film/print, and custom furniture.

Ask my wife about this, I KNOW how to spin a tale. 30 years in sales (and I made good money at it) some theatre training and a lot of practice telling bar stories.

Comply with the ATR standards and you'll be fine.

The appeal of AirBnB, as opposed to the standardized consistent hotel experience, is the opportunity to find the type of vacation or stay that each person wants, whether that is living with/like locals in neighborhoods where hotels don't exist or can't offer, getting more space with the facilities you want (i.e. kitchen, backyard, personal jacuzzi, theatre room, etc.) perhaps at a more affordable price, or sharing a home with others where you can share a home-cooked meal or exchange stories around a fire pit at night.

As far as I can remember, the city itself was the place you'd go for work or pleasure... sports, arts, theatre,  shopping. 

My lease stipulates no subletting without prior approval (lots of my son's friends are theatre students who desperately need a place to stay for the required summer stock show).  

Theatre, cancer walks, chamber of commerce meetings, what have you. 

Take some add space in local theatre programs.
