I am part of the ULI in LA, and this organization is really good for connecting with local real estate developers/investors.

It is a trade organization representing it's membership.  

I used to manage a 300 person product organization for Microsoft, so I believe I'm pretty well versed in management.But, there are lots of ways to do things, and if everyone is getting the results they want in their business, that's all that matters! 

Basically, Rich was offering to mentor someone in exchange for help organizing his business. 

We are looking for a CRM that can organize and streamline our day to day tasks as well as do things like send out a monthly newsletter of our vacant spaces and keep track of leads.

I never do anything expecting to get time with them out of it or to be able to ask them questions, but over time many of these investors have organically become part of my ecosystem and people that I regularly text with or grab a bite to eat with when we're in the same city.
