Other than the networking a good commercial broker can do to get a space leased up, are we missing out on anything else they could provide?

In addition to have a loan officer, or broker, you will need to add to your team at a minimum such experts as GC's, insurance brokers, home inspectors, CPA, attorney. 

I think I need to get more deeply involved in local networks and find a good deal I can be a part of.

I was just notified by my CPA that a 1031 exchange might not be the  best way for me to take money from the sale of one property and buy another property.
