Stay focused and strong.

I've actually been trying to enlighten all my soldiers on the simple house hack of buying a duplex with their VA loan and then have a property manager because lord knows they won't have the time to focus on the day to day. 

My focus is, buy and hold single family homes and VRBO condominiums!

Any tips or focus points for the next 2-5 years would be helpful!

I will focus on the loan approval issue now.

That IMHO helps keep one focused the why you are doing what you are doing.  

If you focus on profits you are far ahead of the game.

Background: I have a Florida real estate brokerage company (an LLC that has elected to be taxed as an  S-corp) that is 100% commercial real estate focused.

However I am currently trying to do some Market Research in order to focus down on a few zip codes were I can start marketing and grow a niche.
