I started as a loan officer in Southern California, then went on to work as a title representative, then a mortgage broker (smaller brokerage), then a real estate broker, and finally onto the freedom of just strictly being an investor.

I have 4 SFDR in Southern, MN, and aside from very minor ($5.00 issues), no repairs at all in two plus years.  

Speaking from experience, I've been learning tons from other the forums on here, both the threads other people ask as well as ones I start.Out of curiosity, are you looking to invest in your proximity (southern suburbs, Twin Cities,...) or looking to invest farther away to achieve better returns?

If you are trying to find a $1m property and want to be able to sell relatively quick, I would suggest coastal southern california.

My operation will be expanding to the southern California area this spring. 

@Michael Noto Yes  those are the areas I know most about, since I moved up here about 3 months ago from southern CT.

I know that Century 21 is a big RE company out here in Southern California but I'm not sure if it's country wide.Any information will be great since I really want to get my RE license and start RE career.
