We do a lot of updating due to the age of a home like this, so we have taken out the old kitchen cabinets, thrown away all the old appliances, pulled out all of the old dated light fixtures, removed the flooring (except for the ceramic tile in the kitchen), removed the bathroom vanities (old and dated), etc.The home already has a newer 30 yr architectural shingle roof, a newer HVAC system, but the rest of the home needs a good overhaul.

I understand you want to leave some equity built into any deal you make, rental or flip, but to walk away from a strong deal like this because the owner won't drop the price to ~.70 on the dollar seems overly aggressive to me.

We need to master overcoming objection and realize that banks and seller and buyer and people are crazy and confusing.We need a good sounding board, team of people, solid spouse and strong mind to get through the accumulation mode of buy properties and controlling property.
