The "complication" is for legal asset protection.I am planning to designate all of these entities as pass through and report taxes on Schedule C of our joint account (not E as these are businesses vs. personally owned rentals).By reviewing the books I realized that i messed up the parent LLC and distributions are income where they should be equity - to be honest I am confused why you suggest it should be liability account vs. equity.
