I am a new real estate investor. i have done 2 successful deals so far and now i have my first investor. we have found a great place and the numbers make since. I just finished Brandon Turner's book "The Book of Investing" which was amazing. my question is, do i only need a promissory note and a deed of trust? or should i have some other partnership agreements when doing deals with other investors who wants to fund the deal?????

Hey Jerry,

On all of my flips I do a promissory note, deed of trust, and a JV (joint venture agreement) The JV outlines roles and responsibilities of each party in the deal.

Let me know if you have any questions!
