An S-Corp will provide you with limited liability (only liable for what you put into the S-Corp) as long as you do not "pierce the corporate veil" which basically means don't co-mingle personal expenses with your S-Corp funds.

@Jon Holdman There's often some confusion between a cooperative apartment building and condos, and people will often say they own their apartment when they live in a cooperative apartment building (also known as a co-op).A condo is when you own the interior airspace of a unit.

They want all these docs, insurance info, business tax, business license, etc, proof of CO and fire alarms on each residential property even the apartment buldings out of state, recent loan bills, original loan docs, grant deeds etc I've done businesss and commercial loans where they ask for 1/3 of the amount of docs as this annoying mortgage company..
