However if you don't what to run to a Realtor everytime you need comps, then I recommend a combination of the local county tax records and a service like RealQuest.com (paid service, however covers most of the country and is very accurate, in my experience.)

If an investor purchases a foreclosure at the county auction, what happens to any IRS tax, mechanic liens, 2nd mortgages, lines of credit etc. that are secondary the loan being foreclosed?

Maybe they'll know who for you to contact....As all these banks use different attorneys....If you don't know who the attorney is look at the county website or in person to see if there's any leads there for it...Good luck!
