Ok, so I see that my last topic has become a forum favorite, so I thought we'd see if you could do anything with the measley sum of $100k. I don't really know that there are still super cheap properties around anymore, but lets find out! :idea:

What is the verdict? Can you get anything for $100k ???

I just did a quick check total active in the 90-100K  range are 283 in the San Antonio Tx area, 53 of them are new listings.....these are single residential...............linnie

In York PA it will get you a 75 year old three unit or a 100+ year old single.  Not much in the way of single family.

Probably nothing but a car down in Baltimore County MD.

I am new to this site and am still looking at all the features.I am in College Station, Texas where Texas A&M University is.This area has been growing fast for some time.There are still deals however.I am a native Californian and have alot of family where you are.I see alot of people coming here from your area for real estate investment.We are one of the most undervalued areas in the country.You can still buy a large executive home here for under 500k in a restricted subdivision.There are probably 80 to 100 listings under 100k.Our area covers several counties.I have alot of experience working with investors and I would love to work with you or anyone you know looking for properties.

Hardly anything.  Going futher out of the city (Atlanta) you can find some lots, mountain land, and maybe some low end single family.

Fort Wayne, IN.  $90,000 just bought my wife and I a 1838 square foot home with a full basement, 2 car attached garage, good sized front yard and huge fenced in back yard, deck, and the house has been completely remodeled.  Very nice neigborhood with spaceous yards, mature trees, and very low traffic.

Plenty of decent HUD Homes available in Central Texas for around or under 100k. Quite a few that were built within the last five years and often are close to new inside.

selling a 2/1 brick in low 90's this month in  great neigborhood.  Move in ready.  The average sale of condos in one good area is in teh 70's.  Six major downtown condo/conversion/historic building projects getting off of the drawing board. Also, know of 2 new houses in  a decent area for $110,000.   One in an emerging neighborhood that needs cosmetics, light remodeling just sitting for $110,000.  Buyers market here in South Carolina and even in Charleston it's changing a little.  Not as easy...people are keeping $$$ close to the vest.
