I hope some of my more seasoned BP friends can shed some light.My SFR is managed by a property manager. 

I have a friend who is on an unpaid leave of absence from their day job.  

We are considering investing in a multifamily property in either Norwich or New London areas. I'm looking for an agent who could assist. Thanks.

There are MANY things that you can do with grass roots efforts, that will pay off for you if you commit to them.Are your title companies there agent friendly? 

I am also primiarily not a rental agent, so when I call it's normally a favor for a friends kid or something and I am just looking out for their best interest.

One of his rental homes flooded, and she threatened to sue him if he set foot on the property.I just assumed that standard landlord law gave him the right to enter a property to do emergency repairs or damage mitigation, but this lady is really freaking out and says she has a friend who is a lawyer who swears up and down he cannot enter the property without her permission.Any words of wisdom?

A friend of mine has two duplexes there and had no issues finding tenants when the prior ones decided to bounce.

We have made friends with a few other newbies and will be attending the next Alamo REIA event.
