I am sure CORT or rent a center will work in your area.For a young tenant I would go with the basic furnishings listed by myself or @Roy N. 

There's always someone who either can't afford their payments (sandwich prospect) or realize a lease option is the only way they're going to get their price without paying a commission (assignment prospect).But as @Percy N. pointed out, if you can't find enough deals from FSBOs you can always market to listed homes.

You are right without being n the UK sourcing deals for profit would be rather hard.

To start with rents are not as high down there as they are in N Chatt or even other parts of town.  

Having some difficulty buying proper property to fix n flip.

I've started with fix n flip ( have 2 JV n working on 3rd).

I am based in Chicago, IL and I love it for short-term appreciation plays like fix-n-flip and rent to own.
