Hello all,A bit of a newbie here, been a landlord for about 7 years but always been in smaller multi families (2-3 units homes).Anyways, I have an opportunity to 1031 into a 6 Unit residential building and had a couple of questions about the financing aspect of commercial loans...#1.

I would be a newby to real estate investing, although I grew up with a parent that had a few buy & hold properties, so I'm familiar with some aspects of REI. 

that way, when you do have kids, your wife (or you) could be at home with them through the critical years. 

acknowledge that party named on lease has changed to person X while leaving all other aspects of the lease unchanged (especially remaining duration).Curious: the lease my property manager uses has "my" name on it.
