They aren't - but I agree with you its hard to separate the legitimate ones from the busts, etc. 

There is a large country wedding venue nearby, so I think the property could be promoted as a place for family members of the wedding to stay or as a secluded getaway location.

I have been recommended to consider AirBnB property management, but I am truly at the beginning stages and would very much appreciate if there are any links or threads that discuss this type of STR venue.

I am 1) not an expert and 2) don't have the time to become one.I think a lot of people skimp here and miss out on opportunities to claim legitimate expenses.

Now if you legitimately can't take it on, and it would be more of an overall liability due to the attention it pulls, the time to adjust to it, etc. then that is when you wholesale that puppy off.

But this seems legitimate if she passes your tenant screening checks.
