Are in-person meetups dead?

Hey BP, a nagging question on my mind: are free in-person meetups dead?  The ones I find are either 1) small, 2) defunct groups no longer meeting post-Covid, and/or 3) sleazy pitch meetings.  Am I wrong?

Hey @John Mullen!

I don't believe in person meetups are dead though I have found in the Columbus area that the mentor style meetings have been more easily accessible. I was part of a small meetup group but I believe the meeting frequency might have been too often for the amount of investing we were doing. If there is a Columbus meetup I would love to attend but as you mentioned most are either online or pitch meetings where ironically nobody owns any real estate. I'm in the North Hilltop and Dayton Ohio area as an investor so if you are ever down to talk shop I am in.

Thank you!
