When I started in this business 19 years ago,( and there are plenty of folks on here who preceded me ) we didn't have access to the technology that has been able to disseminate the educational portion of this business, like it does today.

@Kendrick Smith with the technology nowadays it's pretty easy to invest out of state.

Old people and technology.....There wasn't any cost because Docusign allows a couple free uses. 

The technology is really good now, and the material and installation are much less than copper.Good luck

People are afraid of technology, but it can truly simplify everyone's life if people are willing to try it. 

Hi Everyone, I am a new listener from Dallas, TX, and I am joining the forum to learn more about real estate investing, property management, and real estate technology. 

I work full time in the technology area and plan to continue to as I love what I do. 

I love technology and quality of life, sometimes the former doesn't always mix well with the latter.

I own two Teslas and I would never go back to 100 year old technology.

The industry is so ripe for discussion with all of its: negative stigma, tenants/toilets/trash, fee-drivenness, landlord friendly, investor driven, technologically evolving and legislatively active...environment.There's the historic landlord and agent PM legal agency relationship with a traditional scope of service, duties/responsibilities between LL&T, evolving retail/consumer trends/expectations, etc.
