The main thing is to remember to send frequent updates to the tenants and dedicate some time to find a contatractor.

Alternately if you really want to commit a bed to that space, you could make a murphy type platform.

Check with a small community Bank in your area that has a dedicated commercial loan officer who can work with you through the process.They will know the area and location of your property well enough to look past the numbers to see if the deal makes sense for them and for you.Where are you located?

Hello All,Firstly, I would like to commend the work that Bigger Pockets has carried out to create such an amazing platform for all types of property interests and I appreciate all you fellow members who provide excellent advice on these forums.I recently moved from the United Kingdom to San Jose, CA and after various profitable property renovations and sales in the UK, I felt it was only right to continue the passion I have for Real Estate and move into Multifamily Asset Management.
