Hello BP community,I am brand new to real estate investing and was looking into the Cleveland, OH market.

I'm 31 years old and based out of the Columbus, OH area. 

That's what I did with my last several places in the East Bay and Ohio,....find a vacant property.....get it fixed up....and put a tenant with a voucher in there after properly screening them.

Oh, and don't forget to take advantage of house hacking while you're still young.

I just talked to a realtor in OH on 9/28/20 who recommended that I take 2.5% of the purchase, in your case refi, price as the next tax base.

I have never been a believer in the rule of thumb of insuring your net worth.Apply that rule to this scenario:  Investor A has a high end STR in CA for $2M & Investor B has a 20 unit rental in Ohio worth $600k.
