I'd recommend in the future open the box and look at the flooring. this unit looks great and should have no problem renting. if you hate the flooring so much I'd recommend negotiating a discount maybe 10-20% off but don't be shocked if that doesn't happen. in the grand sceame of your investment career this is nothing trust me. you'll be fine.

When you have one party clearly in default who despite multiple notices fails to respond and/or to protect his/her position whatsoever... what's the point in forcing litigation over a couple grand?
