I successfully use Craigslist as standalone and to drive business to my homeaway.com listing.Between these my Lake house is as full stays maxed out for days I don't block on my homeaway.com calendar.Refresh the CL ad every week and place additional ads in surrounding markets.

A building two blocks from my four plex in Crystal, has a newly painted exterior, decent looking apartments the same size, but with worse looking vinyl windows, no garage, and rents at least $100.00 per unit below mine.

As much as it pains me to ruin our credit, something has got to give at this point and it is either this home that we don't even want or our current home in AZ.At this stage I would love to just walk away from the disaster that is that home, but I have seen that in MI the lender can come after you for the lost funds even in the case of a short sale.
