Best thing to do would be to interview a couple of top listing agents to get their input on what the market is looking for.

I think you would have to interview that agent and see if they are wanting to negotiate strong for you or if the family ties would not work to your advantange. 

He recommended me a few of his property managers that he's been using and I hired one after interviewing them.

I have yet to interview the young lady and her boyfriend (she's a stay at home mom for the time being and he works, been at his job for 6 years from what I understand).

I am glad I have been interviewing several lenders.  

Interviewed several other agents, but were not taken seriously.

I would call them and interview them before accepting their booking request for such a long period.
