It would seem to me that if they were able to translate their easy-to-use platform to an app, there would be nothing but upside.In regards to the rent collection, are you able to tell if your tenant has paid by the 1st through your side of the portal or do you have to wait until it shows up in your bank account to know that your tenant has paid?

I have reached out multiple times and get a ringing phone, no returns on emails, and no response on my owners portal (the company's suggested way to make contact during the COVID shut down). 

If your going to make a business of syndication you definitely need systems fir raising and managing capital and an online portal for your investors to login and see all the info on there investment.

As a user who is constantly accessing my owners portal, I love it for all it has to offer.

We require all our tenants to pay online through a portal (which has an automatic payment option), but often the small tenants are accruing late fees and or NSFs.
