Aside from my selfish hope of using this platform to develop a sense of accountability, I hope that a new investor might glean a conservative, realistic, and attainable approach to financial freedom without any hype or anything to sell by sharing what I learn throughout the process and any inputs the more experienced investors chime in with.

I have a great job but would one day like the financial freedom to have a business and enough passive income to do the things I truly love to do.

I can't wait to meet everyone as we embark on the journey for financial freedom together!

For example, the lender thinks there is no legitimate reason why I would go from a 2 unit to a 4 unit with more tenants, less freedom, etc.

Not trying to sell this deal, as it single handedly would get me halfway to "financial freedom" but do I have any options? 

We have all been guilty of following the crowd and doing what others before and above us have done that led them to their success.My follow up question would be- We all want financial freedom and to live a better life for ourselves and our families through real estate.

Ideally I think that Buy and Holding single homes and small MFH/small apts would help me achieve my goal of financial freedom and retiring by age 50.
