I do plan on getting a backup generator but there’s a one year backlog ughPlumber is pushing for me to switch to a new propane heater to heat both units. My concern is running out of propane and having the pipes freezing...Someone suggested to me that electric baseboard heaters are a good choice and cost effective.

If you’re selling a property and the buyer is financing, then you won’t have a choice and the bank will order it’s own appraisal.

@Ryan A Rodriguez-Wiggins i have my fingers crossed because my team is untested to this point, however it is made of friends of friends that i have known for years growing up, so i hope that relationship is enough to hold accountable (as well as well documented scope of work and incentivized payment schedules.)

@Ryan Pearson You could put everyone on each mortgage, but when you hit your threshold of maximum residential loans allowed (typically at 10), then you'll need to find an alternative for more properties. If you have a solid partnership agreement in place and want to be the most efficient, then you could place one person's name on each loan which will allow you, theoretically, up to 40 loans before hitting the limit.Another alternative is to create a partnership LLC and place them all in there.
