To sum up, this is probably not an opportunity worth pursuing.I had lot's of "Katrina victims" submitting applications for my rental properties....very well-heeled victims...I'll end my participation in this thread by saying I'm not a fan of government welfare or socialism...

After they moved out, I installed a bath fan and wired it to the existing bathroom light so that the fan would always turn on with the light.

They also do sliding glass doors, french doors, ceiling fans, ceiling light fixtures, etc.We do this for all properties being renovated for sale, and most rentals.

There are restrictions that only 3 unrelateds may rent these houses but this is skirted frequently. 2/3 bedroom houses range from $650-$1400 depending on location etc.
