A lot of folks aquire rentals, who are not prepared to take them on.

Treat them like you'd treat anyone, and be ready for surprises they can't control, like deployments that are inconvenient for you, but unavoidable.Some military folks are heroes, some are scumbags and deadbeats, just like in any large group of people.

I know they say do business with folks you trust, but at some point the numbers warrant protecting yourself.

Many of the folks attending will likely be in the same situation, but there will also be a ton of very experienced folks who can help you out tremendously. 

So folks are only seeing one side of things.

Really appreciate the effort all you experienced folks offer those of us just getting started!

I think a lot of folks on BP could benefit from that.

To preface - I am an agent who works with lots of investors in the Athens area and have worked with folks all the way down to Greensboro, Union Point, Buckhead, but most of the activitiy now is focused on helping investors find deals on and off the market for cash flow and flipping.  

There's a surprising number of folks here from around the Cincinnati area.
