Newbie from Hopkinton, MA
Hi All,
Im Jeff from Hopkinton, MA and a new member here. A couple of friends of mine have been doing the real estate game for a while and after observing for too long, I am ready to dive in.
My initial area of interest and focus will be 2-4plex buy and hold, likely house hacking the first one. I have an interest in flipping, but want to get more experience and capital before tackling that one. I am fairly confident on the construction side of things, but want to better understand the market to make sure I am buying and doing the reno appropriately. Also interested in wholesaling, but again, want to build my market expertise a bit more before being comfortable in that area.
Currently, I am a scientist/engineer, which means I like to solve problems and think about all possibilities of a situation. I have found this same thought process in real estate is also a real passion of mine. The other day I went to look at a house (which was a total loser albeit), but had a great time just walking through and seeing all the ways it could be fixed and reorganized to maximize dollars.
Eventually I will build to a level of complete financial independence and expand into technology development in real estate and other areas.
Anyway, my intro is turning into a novel. I look forward to participating in the BP community and hopefully meeting some of you in the real world as well.
Cheers,
Jeff
