What you need more than a place to deploy your money, is a plan with what to do with it.  

My approach isn't extremely popular as interest rates do go up, but I'm active duty military leaving for deployment.

When she does eventually sell, maybe after graduation in 4 years and a move to a new city, she should have a nice chunk of equity to deploy on the purchase of new place, hopefully another house hack.Thanks for reading!

Nothing to add from an investor point of view, but having lived in them overseas while deployed, I can tell you they are very cramped and uncomfortable.

This may affect your vacancy rate especially if it’s a base where deployments are common.

You could create an investment opportunity for someone else and grow your net worth without deploying your own funds.Just a thought...

The numbers don't look good and your earnings could go much further deployed into another vehicle, like a multi family or several single families.
