Shipping container tiny homes

I've been looking alot into tiny homes made out of shipping containers recently. One reason being the reasonable price range/low start-up cost and the other being tiny homes seem to be the new fad. I find it crazy the amount of money people are willing to spend to vacation in a closet sized house for a couple days. Does anyone have any experience in this area or have had similiar thoughts? Has anyone worked with pre fab shipping containers homes before?

Hey Blaine.  They are becoming more and more common/popular in the Joshua Tree area of California where I am an active investor/VRBO operator.  I'm exploring doing them.  Happy to share notes as I learn.
