Usually to maintain a pool or something like that.If nothing else, tell the bank you want them to pay you the amount you paid for the HOA lien, if they refuse let them know that it would make sense to recover the cost by selling off pieces of the house.

There's no doubt that it takes certain unique skill sets to maintain one's equanamity in this racket.But speaking from experience, I know there are worse ways to earn a nickel, and worse people to deal with than evil tenants, mendacious lawyers, petty civil servants, obstreperous bureaucrats, dishonest vendors, thieving contractors, lying business partners and ......Geez, maybe I better rethink this whole thing.

Finding another cabinet to match is too much of a hassle for me.We've always left appliances such as DW, washer/dryers, but informed them via the lease that extra appliances (not fridge/range) were their responsibility to maintain.

They just rust out and plug from the inside so fast,,,maintaining them is a nightmare.If you have copper pipe supply lines inside the house,,,your a theft target waiting to happen!!!
