Here in ontario , i rent in single family homes in a very small community. the constant request we receive is can the tenant have a wood stove in the house. the cost of heating is huge in ontario.(propane ,elect or oil) even with having a completely legal, inspected, and maintained system are the risks too high ( structure fire) to allow this? i m on the fence as we have had a wood stove for years we no difficulty. anyone with any previous experences or thoughts? thanks in advance
