What unexpected pitfalls did you encounter/mistakes you made when you started?

I've put up bandit signs and stickers which got surprisingly few calls I put an add on the internet and got 10 times more responses.

Have any of you encountered similar issues and how do you overcome them?

Hello everyone,I'm fairly new to real estate, so I'm sorry if this seems like an ignorant question.After listening to the bigger pockets podcast and reading a whole bunch on here it seems like one of the biggest problems people encounter are their property management companies.

The one that does get accepted is the only one that matters.To give you some insight your quick success is not common and any Realtor will tell you that you will encounter rough times in this business.

So many folks encounter an obstacle like that, or opportunity, and decide to hunker down for fear of the unknown.
