My gut tells me not to spend the $6000 to upgrade all laminate countertops (kitchen and 3 baths) to quartz but thought I’d ask the experts as I don’t have experience with laminate to know if it’s something that will need to be replaced often and quartz wouldn’t.Thanks for any feedback!

@Robert Johnson I'm not a tax or financial expert, but from my recent experience dealing with lenders, they require documentation of some sort, often in the form of current lease agreements, to prove that income is consistent.

I would talk to an expert on that.I can't remember where to find it off the top of my head but there is a few things out there that talk about how much you need to make in passive income per month to be able to stop working.
