For those of you that have had VAs run comps for you, what are some things that you had told them that helped them grasp the art of figuring out an ARV?

VAs are very common and can be a very valuable asset.

I have a few VAs that do some things for me and I keep focusing on acquistions and sometimes on sales.

This is not considered a cold call since you already know these folks and is typically a very laid back conversation... no pressure, just informing/reminding them that you're in the industry and actively servicing buyers, sellers and investors- VAs can help verify and sometimes pre-qualify leads but I'd be very careful with this approach.

Makes sense these lists are compiled from multiple sources, scrubbed by VAs, contact information for owners looked up, etc, and so lists are sort of proprietary to the individuals who spend the time and money to put them together :)

look into driving for dollars,  door knocking, mailers, text blasting (REI Reply), cold calling, hiring VAs to cold call.

One of the presenters has a business where she has video and scripted steps for her business and VAs to follow.

Do they have lots of VAs going through public records or do they have some other type of system?  

VAs are only $5-10 per hour.
