If I wanted to retire, I'd de-leverage.

I am focused mostly on u of a economy as a defensive play that is de-coupled from the macro economy at large.

Post Falls and Coeur de Alene Idaho would be even closer to wilderness areas and lakes but are harder to get cash flow from rentals.

That sounds terrific, we have just built in Powell/ Delaware and ended up building at the right time as the home has already appreciated.

Also the land is in Chontales de Osa, Costa Rica

The feeling being rejected is not fun & that is how I feel right now.I have one single home in DE currently on Airbnb for short term rental for people who travel for work, my mortgage is $1000 as I do 15 years term & income range from $1000-$2000 depend on good month & not so good month & another single home in NJ as my primary.

Any recommendations for areas in PA, NJ, and/or Delaware with approved land/lots...utility lines at street for modular home investing?  

They had so many cars they used all available street parking on the cul-de-sac.
