so i usually ask who their underwriter is.. and in our market we are covered by all national underwriters so i have them send it to one of my closers here i use all the different underwriters.. no appointment and no charge LOL

I would suggest calling around and seeing if you can get a sit down appointment for an hour with an attorney to discuss the risks you face by going through with the purchase.

His advice was that I could not represent to anybody that I owned the property (until after closing) and I could not sign a lease or take a deposit until after closing.So I listed it on Jan 19 and started setting up appointments for afternoon on the 26th since we closed that morning.

That being said, zoning changes and variances are reviewed by boards appointed by the City Council and there is no guarantee the board or dissenting constituents/neighbors will agree with your request.
