@Natanya VidalesJust be careful when choosing to purchase in 29 Palms. 29 Palms is affected by the winds more than JT and YV are and if your agent doesn’t know what’s up, you’ll end up buying in a giant dust bowl.

One thing not mentioned is if you went 0% down with no value add option on the primary if the market swings the wrong way you could be underwater and not able to refi for a longer period. 

After looking into the local laws and permit process I found out that the home is not able to be a STR unless it were to continue being my primary residence due to current zoning.

@Robert Naw if you're not able to close on it then the best you can hope for is a "finder's fee" from either the buyer or selling agent.
