That might change things  one thing that is nice about the desert or semi arid desert you dont spend any money on landscaping.. you just put rocks down and plastic flowers and call it a day.although if this style of rental or tenant who would actually live there is not your core compentancy or something you are going to build on I not sure why anyone would take on this type of property to make a grand or two a year.. seems like better and easier things to do.
