I have a black book full of trades that can do everything from concrete work to finish framing.The unfortunate part of the last three years (unfortunate financially!)

In this case, it seems that there are no such limitations for someone who is day trading stocks with an IRA brokerage account.  

I just moved back to my home town and in the process of rebuilding my consulting business in Al, Ga, and Fl.I’ve always had a passion for investing & trading the markets (Futures, Forex, and Options) and I would like to learn how to best merge the worlds of income trading and RE investing.

Since every day working we trade our time- our very lives- for money or capital, I conclude that capital equals life.

Second tip: get some kind of trade knowledge or an education so you can do something else if you decide real estate is not for you.Third tip: don't be too locked into anything at your age.

Now, if you hire a contractor who will be responsible for the work, licensed trades to sign off then we have some assurance as to the condition of our collateral.

Is having them in an LLC right now worth the trade-off in terms of not having the stability of plain old boring 30 year fixed mortgages on them?

Run away from this.What I would do is try to get a job either in the trades or a real estate office and just soak in everything you can.Starting this early in life with REI is a great thing.
