Most Turo owners are local to their cars, unlike STRs.But if you can make the Turo rental work it seems like something that could be a huge help, and the couple people I've talked to actually doing it have had good luck with it.Like you shared this model could work great but it would be somewhat limited to STR owners who are local to their rental and can transport the car accordingly.The last two times that I used TURO, both were within 2023 the TURO drivers had to utilize creative options for the travelers who were flying in because airports are creating parking restrictions as it competes with their airport rental options.Besides that its difficult to find management for the vehicle the rules are becoming more strict.

@Kevin Hart  I would not do an lease option like @Kelly DeWinter mentioned it is not as easy to refinance and and you are not as much in the drivers seat.Buy his house subject 2 his first loan and give him a note and deed of trust ( mortgage) for his equity.
