Imagine you'd been planning for months for a great ski vacation to Park City (that sounds great to me right now) and a month before you arrive, you find out that the people you've been dealing with, who have all the money, are no longer the managers -- and its high season so even if you get a 100% refund, you probably can't find a place.

Also I have helped clients buy and sell in areas I did not feel I had the expertise to do business in, but they wanted to use me anyways due to a pre-existing business relationship and because I was honest enough to tell them I was hesitant to work in that area.

Or, i would get a credit card that has 0% APR for the first year and transfer my existing debt to it. then i would do my best to pay off the credit card debt as fast as possible.
