If we ever have the itch to go back to that area we can wait until the lease is complete and move back into the "her" house because she still owns it.If it gets torn up, that's what you have insurance for and you can always fix it bigger and better than before.

Like you, I'm new to RE investing and I'm itching to make the first move.

@Jennifer Ceren tapp, thanks a lot.I will be looking for BRRR deals, ideally multi-family ones.I want to start very small, despite having around 15 years of experience investing in real estate, I have never invested in the USA....I'm looking forward to my first deal.We will be moving to JAX (Ponte Vedra) around September, I'm actually itching to pull the trigger on some properties I have researched, however with no boots on the ground that may be a bit difficult.

I don't have enough in Savings to pull another for 1 yr+, but itching to build my portfolio.
